Tuesday, October 15, is National Latino AIDS Awareness Day (NLAAD), the last day of Hispanic Heritage Month, which starts each September 15. “Commit to Speak / Comprométete a Hablar” is this year’s theme. Established by the Latino Commission on AIDS and the Hispanic Federation with other groups nationwide, NLAAD promotes HIV awareness in the Latino community. Events will be held across the country encouraging HIV testing and prevention.
