Do Your Homework Before You Get That Nip/Tuck
Make sure your surgeon is board certified. If you want a facial procedure, go to a surgeon who is certified by the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery. Don’t go to a surgeon for a nose job (rhinoplasty) if he or she specializes on the body. Ask to see pictures. Also, ask to speak to other patients. If a doc doesn’t have any recent patients who’ve had the work you want done, that may mean he or she doesn’t do many procedures of that kind. Use this as a guide to decide who you ultimately choose.
